Tourist Destination of Trinidad Reports Growth |

Havana.- The tourist destination of Trinidad, in central Cuba, benefits from a broad investment program that will create new hotel capacities.
The plans in execution will allow offering some 20,000 hotel rooms by 2030.
Therefore, this destination, which was declared Humankind's Cultural Heritage Site with its Valle de los Ingenios (Sugar Mills Valley), will be among the regions with the largest hotel infrastructure in the country.
Trinidad currently offers some 4,000 rooms, 1,155 of which are operated by the State and the rest are in private accommodation in projects linked to the Ministry of Tourism.
Trinidad will also welcome foreigners interested in participating in the 12th edition of the Nature Tourism Event, Turnat 2019, from September 26 to 28.
Among the places to visit are the Historic Heart of Trinidad, the Sugar Mills Valley and the Manaca Iznaga Tower, as well as the Guaurabo River, a gateway for the Spanish conquistadors in the 16th century.
