New Projects for Tourism in Dominican Republic |

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic approved eight tourism development projects, which will be carried out with a joint investment of 467 million dollars.
Sources from the sector indicated that these initiatives have contributed some 2,200 new rooms to the country.
From January to date, 33 projects have been authorized, with an investment of nearly 2.865 billion dollars and more than 14,600 rooms.
In brief, the capital comes from Panama, the United States, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Argentina and the Dominican Republic.
Among the 33 projects underway is the development of accommodation and tourism infrastructure in La Altagracia, Puerto Plata, Samana, Santiago, San Cristobal, Santo Domingo, El Seibo and Barahona.
