Cuba to Increase Tourism Capacities |

Havana.- Cuba plans to incorporate 4,197 rooms for tourism during the second half of this year.
From January to June, 2,081 rooms were completed, to raise the accommodation potential to 72,965 rooms at the end of the semester.
Some 97 percent of the new rooms will be located in 26 hotels, while the remaining 3 percent will result from enlargement projects.
Together with this, the execution of 13 new projects, linked to golf courses with 15,000 rooms, also complement the leisure industry.
In the private sector, there are 26,224 rooms for tourism, with 17,805 landlords duly legalized with their license.
