Accor Bets on Expansion in Latin America |

San Jose.- The French hotel chain Accor has increased its presence in Central and South America, with 58,937 rooms until June 30, 2019.
In addition, it has 19,877 rooms in different stages of development, followed by Marriott International, which has 22,709 open rooms and 8, 389 rooms under execution contracts.
The third major chain in terms of number of rooms is Wyndham Hotels and Resorts with 17,878, followed by Choice Hotels International (12,326).
By brands, under the name of Accor Ibis, 22,715 rooms operate, in addition to 9,553 rooms under the Ibis Budget, while Mercure offers 8,098 rooms.
The first five brands also include Sheraton with 6,580 operating rooms and Novotel that runs 5,855 rooms.
