Bee Honey Processing Guaranteed in Central Cuba
Monday, November 4, 2019

Havana.- The bee honey processing plant in the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus, guarantees supplies for domestic consumption and exports.

The plant is operating in the last months of the year, which is the best period for honey extraction and production.

In the first nine months of 2019, the plant processed more than 2,250 tons, exceeding the production plan for that period, according to experts.

This trend will allow producing 10,000 tons of bee honey, of which the Sancti Spiritus industry must deliver 2,393 tons.

The plant has the necessary supplies to meet the expected production, taking into account that actions have been taken to maintain the quality of exports.
