Cuban Charcoal to International Market |

Havana.- Los Palacios, in the western province of Pinar del Rio, exported 883 tons of charcoal in the first ten months of 2019.
The product is sold under the Marabucuba brand to Saudi Arabia, France, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, Spain and Mexico.
Specialists noted the acceptance of the product, which is very abundant invasive plant in the Cuban fields, due to its high quality.
Before the year's end, the company plans to export 900 tons of charcoal, which is widely used to cook food instead of conventional energy.
Cuba's sickle bush charcoal has a great international demand, due to its high caloric value and characteristics such as a blue flame, low smoke and the absence of ash.
