Granma, 730 km (over 450 miles) southeast of Havana, has many natural tourist attractions. The exuberant nature of eastern Cuba's mountains, rich in historic events, offers travelers both its beautiful natural landscape and a historic touch. The Gulf of Guacanayabo, seen from the former Demajagua sugar mill, links one of the country's most beautiful bays with Cuba's struggles for independence.
