The Cape of San Antonio, the western end of the greater one of the Antilles, stands in a zone that is peculiar to sentinel where it emphasizes the tremendous potential for the practice of nautical activities. Very close by are the reefs where stands the Roncali Lighthouse, built in the second half of the XIX century by a captain of the same name, it marks the most western point of the island, in an area which is considered to be the last refuge of the aboriginal people in the time of the spanish colonization. Its archaeological exploration contributes elements that allow to understand clearly the effort of the constructors who worked in the realization of the tower, given the difficult topography of the terrain. ,
