New Air Routes Boost Tourism in Cuba
Monday, February 20, 2012

Havana.- New international air routes have contributed to the development of Cuba's tourism by making it easier for vacationers to travel to the Caribbean island from different parts of the world.

The latest actions in that direction include the inauguration of a flight by LAN Peru from Lima to Havana.

According to experts, this new route will increase possibilities to boost Cuba's tourism, due to the company's many connections in Latin America and the Caribbean, especially in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.

LAN Peru is a branch of LAN Chile, which was founded in 1929 and has signed contracts with airlines in the aforementioned countries.

Cuba is boosting air connectivity to increase tourist arrivals.
