Description |
Dulce Maria Loynaz, who was born on December 10, 1902, daughter of Enrique Loynaz del Castillo, General of the Liberation Army, is one of the most outstanding Cuban writers and her name is ranked as one of the first in the Hispano-American poetry. Most of her work was done in the house where she lived until she passed away, and where famous Cuban artists and writers and from other parts of the world used to get together. The friendly house, a wonderful exponent of the eclectic architecture of its times, is part of a complex of big houses located at the Vedado. |
