In 1730, José de Pedroso y Florencia demolished the construction previously located here and built this two-story house with a mezzanine, front, arches and embedded columns. In 1746 he added porches. During the l9th century it was used as a warehouse, a tobacco factory and offices. In this century it was the Public Health Headquarters and seat of the Office of the Historian. Restored in 1987, it became the Museum of Education. |
