Description |
The Asturian Center of Havana inaugurated a new headquarters, of eclectic style, in 1927. Four floors and a similar number of towers distinguish it. Imported marbles form beautiful geometric combinations. Artist Mariano Miguel made the natural sized drawings and sculptures, as well as the paintings on the ceiling of the main hall. He also designed the stairway. The ironwork and leaded glasswork contribute to its impressive and monumental beauty. |
